About the school
ENBE Language School opened in 2009 in Maksimirska 64 in Zagreb with the slogan We are not different and we don’t have something that we only have as opposed to abundance of clichéd publicity and the profile of students that will be interested in such manner of presentation.
The logo of School has a motto Not yet another language which can be interpreted in many ways, but it originally means supporting multilingualism and multiculturalism.
ENBE Language Schools is the member of Association for Foreign Languages of Croatian Chamber of Commerce and the owner of the school is Nataša Nikpalj-Juraić, MA, expert in the field of foreign language teaching methods and teacher trainer with experience in education. Certificates are issued in accordance with European standards.
Specificities of the school
The school is known because all the foreign language courses are tailored according to students’ needs and it completely adapts to students’ goals. The courses are taught in very small groups. The school’s methods target needs, styles of learning and interests of each individual student and use the newest results of research into foreign language learning. The emphasis is on communicative approach and student motivation with usage of new technologies and use of humour and music. We especially work on learning strategies, i.e. students learn how to most effectively learn foreign language.
The school is specific because the teachers are always available to students, even outside classrooms, via e-mail, Google groups with learning materials and face to face. Students, if they wish, receive an e-mail after each lesson with summary of activities done in the class as well as materials used and additional exercises. All the students take advantage of this service as well the use of resource centre with Cambridge University Press materials and other famous publishers.
Types of courses
Apart from Croatian for Foreigners, in ENBE Language School you can learn German, Italian, French, Portuguese, Spanish and Russian. The newest additions are Japanese, Arabic and Korean (as the first school in Croatia to offer it). Our summer intensive courses are particularly popular.
Finally, but not least, we try to make classes motivating and interesting through diverse themes and exercises, visual presentations and aids, challenges, dramatisations, simulations of real life experiences and open exercises with unpredictable results.
